I really enjoyed this book, because it wasnâ€™t confusing or overwhelming. The first three chapters talk about things we know but donâ€™t realize how important they are when it comes to taking pictures. Then the rest of the book goes into detail about lighting, composition, and posing the face and body, but itâ€™s all in a way thatâ€™s easy to remember. I especially like the checklists at the end of chapters 4-14, because theyâ€™re quick and easy to go back and reference. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to take better pictures.

The author tells you what professional photographers do, then breaks it down into easily understandable ideas. The book also contains some very deep insights as to why people like particular photographs and how you can get more of those things into all of your photos.
