"Great series to introduce Little House on the Prairie to young children. My daughter has been collecting them since she was three. Now that she is five (kindergarten) she is beginning to read them on her own with some help. We love the illustrations. However, a down fall to the books are the first page of each book begins the same. If you are reading several of the books in a row to your child you will find that you quickly tire of the first page. My daughter has never complained though."

- My son enjoys this book. The pictures are so pretty and the story is nice. Since my son is only 2- I usually just talk about each page vs reading verbatim. A book he will grow into and enjoy for many years to come! Will be getting other books in the series soon!
