  • As all books written by Carole Marsh, this is another good book to read. It's enjoyable and it is worth 3 points if your child is participating in the Accelerated Reading Program. The reading level was 5.1 (5th grade 1 month). It was interesting enough and simple enough for my 4th grader and at the same time, it did introduce a couple new vocabulary words (which is always good). I recommend all books by Carol Marsh, due to the realistic fiction, both educational and enjoyable.
  • My 10yr old son liked the book. He’s read a couple others from this series and wants more.
  • This was a gift for a 7 year old who is familiar with the Hershey area. He was very interested in the book and it is appropriate for his age.
  • My daughter loves this book series. She can't wait for our family to now visit Hershey PA. Excellent series for the young readers that likes adventures across the United States.
  • We purchased a few of these books for our nephew. Within one week we received a call that he was having a great time reading them and wanted to visit Hershey as soon as possible.
  • My daughter loves this series. She read them the first time at age 6 and is rereading them again at age 9. The mysteries are based upon real locations that children can relate to. These can sometimes be hard to find at the local libraries so I would highly recommend adding this series to your personal library.
  • Love HErshey
  • These books are dreadful. They seem like advertisements for various establishment in each of the locations. The writing is terrible and the plots lacking. I give it two stars because my kids seem to enjoy hearing them despite this - age 6 and 7.
