• This edition of the full color King James Bible is packed with additional historical, archeological, and contextual information. Full color maps and mid-column references help reinforce the interconnections across the Old Testament / New Testament chapters. The additional study and alternative translation information is very helpful in making the original text understandable to modern people. This addition shows some of the Aramaic and Greek words in the middle reference column, and shows alternative translation words that may make more sense today. The level of scholarship that went into this production is truly mind boggling. Very inspiring.
  
  It took me a bit of study just to get up to speed on the very dense format, but it's easy now. The pages are a bit thin, but how else does one pack 2400 pages into one book without making it weigh a ton? The leather cover is excellent and an important protective addition to something I'll leave to future generations.
• I have always carried a Scofield Study Bible but had a friend who had this Bible, and I was always impressed with the study notes, so when it came time to buy a new Bible, I ordered this one. I'm enjoying it a lot. The binding seems of good quality, but there isn't much margin on the bound edge of the page (my only negative comment). The type is very good size and readable. The Bible is a little larger and heavier than I'm used to, but the type is larger too. It lays open nicely, and the pages have a nice feel.
  I find looking up references to be very easy, which is sometimes difficult in a new Bible. The cross references and study notes are interesting and helpful. The King James is the best English translation ever, and I love that. The notes and doctrinal explanations in this Bible are from a conservative, orthodox, view and are very much in line with main stream Bible believing Christians and churches. The outlines at the beginning of each book are helpful. The only feature I miss not having is the index of proper names, which the Scofield had.
  I would recommend this Bible to anyone interested in studying the scriptures.
• This is a very nice and comprehensive study bible. I really love the thumb index and study notes. I was specially looking for a King James study bible and this was a great choice! The leather is beautiful and it makes a great Christmas gift.
• This is the best King James Study Bible ever. I have a lot of study bibles but this one is far superior to them.
  
  The type font is large and the notes are from 25 conservative scholars. I love the tables and charts. Expecially the Doctrinal Footnotes and Doctrinal Chart. There are also very fine book introductions, annotations, and archaeoligical, as well as, personality profiles.
  
  The paper is a fine india paper. Using a "Dry Marker" (which can be purchased at [...]) There will be no bleeding through as with other markers and yet you can have the joy the the fine paper. Fine paper is the mark of a quality Bible.
  
  The leather binding is very wonderful and beautiful. This is the second Bible that I have purchased. I purchased one in burgundy and one in black. I kept one and the other was a gift. When I want to give a Bible as a gift, I will give this Bible to others.
  
  I highly recommend this Bible if you are a serious student of the Word. Yet, it is simple enough for the beginner. This Bible will last a long time and give you many years of wonderful study information.
• I gave 3 to 3 of my dear friends and they loved them.. Top quality leather and printing... Just take not this is the King James version and not the NEW King James version.
• There is a lot of very good information to be found in this book.
  One aspect I enjoy is the background given on authors of each book. I also like being able to click on a link to more information.
  I don't like not being able to make notes. I would have given it a five star if this was available. Another drawback is difficulties in returning to the scripture passage after going to the link of deeper information. I am using this on my Fire HD, so maybe it's just me or something.
  Over all, it is a very good study Bible and I would recommend it to anyone.
• The best thing about the study bible is its encouragement to take the Bible LITERALLY. Whenever possible, it makes the point that the Bible is the Word of God and to be taken seriously and studied closely. The life application entries can also be quite enlightening and a blessing if you can find it within yourself to practice in your daily life. Devotion to God is a process and these little gems can be priceless.
  
  The maps and text are beautifully presented. The pages are high quality and the printing is well done. The overall presentation of this Bible is second to none. I would highly recommend this version as a gift to a new believer.
  
  It's easy to get lost in the minutia when it comes to a good Bible translation. I've been on a quest for the best, most accurate translation of God's Word since beginning a non-fiction novel about Revelation and the end times. Let me save you hours of research. The KJV is the most reliable translation. The NIV and other newer translations have problems. Look into it.
• This is the Thomas Nelson, King James Study Bible, scanned into kindle. It's got good notes for a little study of the bible, but the search feature is not so good. I'd recommend Blue Letter Bible app as the best way to read and study the Bible on your phone or tablet.
